Lockdown in Manipal College by ANNISU on the charge of extorting more money from students

Kathmandu. Manipal College has been locked by the CPN-UML-affiliated ANNFSU Gandaki on the charge of charging more than the prescribed fee by the Medical Education Commission .Prakash Poudel, Gandaki state coordinator of the organization, said that the Manipal Medical College of Science had locked up the college administration as it had charged more than the fee fixed by the Medical Education Commission.

Anerasvaviyu has accused the college of asking students for Rs 600,000 in various titles. Gandaki coordinator Poudel said that the ANNISU-WU, which had given a 24-hour ultimatum on Sunday demanding reduction of the amount, had indefinitely locked the administration of the college since Monday.
