Local elections are being held in a few months and state elections are being held in a year

Biratnagar. Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed to start preparations for the local and state elections.

Addressing the Virtual State-1 General Convention held on Friday, Deuba had informed that local and state elections would be held in the next few months and within a year.

He also conveyed the message to the cadres that the Nepali Congress should be united to win the elections at all levels.He said that the people’s heart should be won as it has been confirmed that there is no alternative to the Nepali Congress in the country. He claimed that the General Convention would also help him.
