Kabul blast : 90 killed

According to the latest reports, two powerful suicide bombings at the main entrance of Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan have killed 90 people.

As the August 31 deadline approached, the United States and other nations stepped up their efforts to evacuate their citizens from Afghanistan, following a bomb blast at the airport on Thursday. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the incident.

More than 160 people were injured in two blasts on Thursday evening, according to international media.

The dead included at least 28 Taliban members. The BBC reports that 13 Americans, including four soldiers, were killed in the blast. That number could rise further.

The US military is working hard to complete the rescue operation in Afghanistan. The United States is preparing to complete the rescue operation by August 31, as agreed with the Taliban.
