Kabaddi 4 earned 8 million rupees in three days
Nepali film ‘Kabaddi 4’ has set a weekend opening record. The three-day gross of the film has reached 8 million.
The film, which has grossed Rs 3 million in a row, is expected to earn double digits in the next two days. Earnings are estimated to cross Rs 10 million after watching the show and occupancy on Monday and Tuesday.
Large multiplex chain INI has grossed Rs 11.2 million. The main multiplex chain QFX has grossed Rs 21.8 million in its first weekend.
Pokhara’s Midtown has a revenue of Rs 12 million, Gopi Krishna and Ashtanarayan Rs 20 million, One Cinemas Rs 45 million, Big and Fcube Rs 40 million. 30 million in BSR and 21 million in Ranjana.
QFX alone accounts for one-third of the film’s gross. Occupancy will be 80 to 90 percent on Monday and Tuesday, according to QFX data.
The film, directed by Rambabu Gurung, is projected to dominate the domestic box office for a few more weeks. Distributor Govind Shahi, on the other hand, claimed that the film earned gross of Rs 91.5 million in three days.
The gross earnings on the first day were Rs 35 million, on the second day Rs 31.5 million and on the third day Rs 29.5 million.
The film, which was made with an investment of around Rs 3 million, has already secured investment from foreign and digital rights sales before its release. Produced by Maniram Pokhrel and Bansuri Films, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla and Miruna Magar in the lead roles.
