Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta calls for AGM; Proposed 52 percent dividend

Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., has called for company’s 10th annual general meeting.

A meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Monday has decided to hold the annual general meeting on Baisakh 30. The meeting will start at 11 am at Hotel New Era in Butwal, Rupandehi.

The meeting will approve the proposed 52 percent dividend for the last fiscal year. Where 49.40 percent is bonus share and the remaining 2.60 percent is cash dividend (for tax purposes). The meeting will also approve a special proposal to give full authority to the Board of Directors to merge with other suitable microfinance company and to carry out all the necessary work for the purpose of merger.

The organization has decided to close the book for one day on Baisakh 23 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the existing shareholders till Baisakh 22 will be eligible to receive dividend and participate in the meeting.
