The city of Xi’an in China has been hit hard by an outbreak of the corona virus. The strike took place in the city of Xi’an in Shanxi Province. Long-distance bus stations have been closed and roadblocks to the city have been tightened.

Many flights from Xi’an Airport have also been postponed. Businesses other than essentials are closed, and government employees are told to work from home. Citizens of the city, which has a population of 13 million, have been told to stay indoors.

According to the BBC, 143 people have been infected since December 23. According to government officials, delta variants of the corona virus have now spread there.
