In third hour NEPSE index declined by 23.10 points; Turnover of worth more than 4 crore rupees

In the third hour of trading on Monday, the Nepse index fell by 23.10 points and reached to 2,676.41 points. In a market that declined by 0.86 percent, 212 companies traded of  worth Rs. 4 arba 29 crore 91 lakh 1 thousand.

In the third hour of trading, shares of Jyoti Life Insurance and Mahila Laghubitta and NRN Infrastructure & Developmnet raised by more than 9 percent.

Of the 13 groups traded in the third hour, the hydropower and finance group raised, while the rest fell. Banking, trade, hotels and tourism, development banks, non-life insurance, manufacturing and processing, others, microfinance, life insurance, mutual funds and investment groups declined. Of which, the index of hotels and tourism group has declined the most by 5.18 percent.

Citizen Investment Trust has had the highest turnover during this period. The company’s Rs. 23 crore 10 lakh worth of shares have been traded. The company’s share price raised and is being traded at Rs. 3,999.

The second most traded company in terms of turnover is the Hydropower Investment and Development Company. The company’s share price is being traded at Rs. 1,473 thousand. The company’s Rs.19 crore 58 thousand worth of shares have been bought and sold.
