IME General Insurance calls for general meeting; Agendas to be discussed?

The general meeting of IME General Insurance Company Limited is being held on Sunday. The company has informed that the meeting will start at 10 am at the central office of the company at Naxal.

The meeting will pass a resolution to distribute 7 percent bonus shares and 0.37 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. It will also pass a resolution to distribute 40 percent of the paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares.

Likewise, the meeting will also pass a proposal to maintain the share ownership of the company from 60 percent of the founders group and 40 percent of the general shareholders to 51 percent to the founders and 49 percent to the general group. The existing shareholders till Chaitra 31 will get dividend.
