“I am taking initiative to pass MCC”: Prime Minister Deuba

The Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur, has said that the US Assistance Project (MCC) agreement will be tabled in the parliament and the results will be accepted. Releasing the book ‘A Brief History of the Nepali Congress’ written by Congress leader Arjun Narasimha KC in Baluwatar, Prime Minister Deuba said that it should be handed over to the parliament whether it is passed or not.

“We want to table the MCC project in parliament. We accept what happens if it passes or fails,” he said. We have already made the decision and I am taking initiative for that, ” he said. He also said that one should not be afraid to stand on the side of MCC.

Claiming that this is in the interest of the nation, he said that the MCC is being criticized without any study.
