Govt Grants Permission to Two Private Labs for PCR Test
The government has given permission for two private labs to conduct PCR tests.
The labs of Star Hospital in Sanepa of Lalitpur and Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital in Sinamangal of Kathmandu have been allowed to perform PCR tests on COVID-19.
The ministry has said that only the surplus swabs will be allowed to be tested by the private sector charging Rs 5,500 per case. The ministry has also said, all private labs will be allowed to test the samples provided by the government only.
