Fuel price raised again, 1.27 billion loss to the corporation

Nepal Oil Corporation has re-adjusted the price of petroleum products.

According to the corporation, the price of petroleum products has been adjusted with effect from midnight on Tuesday. The corporation has been adjusting the price many times lately.

Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya has claimed that the corporation has a loss of more than Rs 1.27 billion on a semi-monthly basis even after the last price adjustment.

The Corporation has fixed the retail price of petrol, diesel and kerosene at Rs. 2 has increased. With the price hike, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 118 per liter and diesel to Rs 101 per liter. Similarly, the corporation has also increased the previous retail price of fuel for domestic flights by Rs 2 to Rs 74 per liter.

The price of LP gas and aviation fuel for international flights has remained unchanged.
