Four pilgrims killed in Okhaldhunga accident

The death toll in a Bolero accident involving a pilgrim at Sunkoshi in Okhaldhunga has reached four. Three died on the spot and one died while being taken for treatment.

Four persons were killed when a Bolero Pradesh-3-01-022 Cha 9694 heading towards Kakani temple from Chaman of Okhaldhunga fell about 500 meters from the road.

Mithumaya Magar, 35, Tulsa Magar, 16, Khagendra Magar, 19, and Shantamaya Magar, 36, of Siddhicharan Municipality-10 died on the way to the hospital. Four of the injured were airlifted to Kathmandu, police said.

According to the police office, three of the injured are undergoing treatment at Katunje Health Post and others have been taken to Mission Hospital.
