Former King Gyanendra Shah and his wife Komal Shah have been confirmed infected with the corona virus. A test conducted on Monday confirmed the infection, according to a health ministry source.
The infection has been confirmed, and they are in isolation, security sources said. Former King Shah had returned after participating in the Kumbha Mela held at Hariddwar, India. Shah was invited as a special guest. He was invited by Swami Kailashananda Giri for the royal bath.
Currently, the mela has become a hotspot for corona virus. The mela will run for two months. And more than 1,500 corona infections have been confirmed at the fair.
