Extreme heat has killed at least 486 people in Canada over a five-day period. It is reported that there are many senior citizens among the victims.
Canada, the hottest place in history, last recorded a temperature of 49.06 degrees Celsius. Before this week, temperatures in Canada never reached more than 45 degrees Celsius.
