Expansion of branchless banking services of Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank International Limited has expanded its branchless banking services with the objective of providing accessible and state-of-the-art banking services to the residents of various remote places of the country.

Meanwhile, the bank has launched 89th branchless banking service in Jargaha, Sunwal Municipality, Nawalparasi from January 25.
Local businessman Laxman Acharya has been appointed as the business representative to run the service in the area. The aim of this branchless banking is to provide deposit collection, payment, transfer of funds, payment of mobile phone bills, payment of utility services and other services provided by the bank.

The bank expects this service to expand trust and banking culture in rural areas. Citizens Bank International Limited has been providing modern banking services to around 1.28 million customers from its 174 branches, 123 ATMs and 89 branchless banking units spread across the country.
