Eight million tourists entered Nepal in ten months

In the 10 months of 2023, eight hundred and nine thousand six hundred and seventy eight foreign tourists have entered Nepal. According to the data provided by the Nepal Tourism Board, that number of foreign tourists entered Nepal from January to October this year.

One lakh 17 thousand three hundred six tourists have visited Nepal by air route in the month of October alone. In the same period of 2022, 88,582 tourists entered Nepal. In 2019, 113,816 tourists came to Nepal.

In October, 18,480 came from India, 14,879 from America, 8,217 from Britain, 6,880 from China, 6,750 from Australia, 5,911 from Germany, 5,271 from France. 4,292 tourists from Bangladesh, 2,507 tourists from Sri Lanka and 2,467 tourists from Italy came to Nepal.
