Delhi Chief Minister announced a week long lockdown in Delhi

A week-long lockdown has been announced in the India’s capital Delhi from today.
Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has announced a one-week lockdown to minimize the rising Corona infection. The lockdown will be implemented from 10 pm tonight to 5 am on Monday, said Minister Kejriwal. “Lockdown decision has been taken in view of the current situation,” he said.
According to him, it is a short period of lockdown and unlikely to increase again. However, he has appealed to Delhi people not to go out of the house and not to go elsewhere.
Kejriwal said that a large number of beds would be added to the hospitals during this period and the supply of medicine and oxygen would also be increased.
