Delay in vaccination due to lack of details

One week after the country started giving modern vaccine against covid to children between the ages of 12 and 17, it has not started in Bara yet. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The District Health Office stated that the vaccine was not administered due to lack of details. Four out of 16 municipalities in the district have not submitted their details to the health office.

The children of 12 municipalities who have submitted their details have not been able to get vaccinated due to lack of management. Even the District Covid Management and Control Committee at the local level is unaware of whether vaccination has started or not. The meeting of the committee has stopped. Chief District Officer Krishna Bahadur Katuwal, who is also the coordinator of the committee, said that he would give instructions to start the vaccination campaign immediately. The government has sent vaccines to 57 districts of the country since last Sunday. “There is a problem in planning as there are no details,” said district health chief Ram Naresh Yadav. He said that the municipality was repeatedly asked to provide the details but it was not available. “Even though it is said that vaccination will be given in vaccination centers and schools, there is not enough manpower here,” he said. “It will take time to complete the vaccination.”

Chief of the Education Branch of Kalaiya Sub-metropolis, Prahlad Varnawal, said that he was not informed to provide the details of the students. Some schools do not have birth registration of students, there is a tendency to enroll without birth registration. “Now the alternative is to get vaccinated according to the records of the Education Management Information System (EMIS),” said Varnawal.
