CEO of Civil Bank resigned

Kathmandu, April 16

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Civil Bank Ltd. Govinda Gurung has resigned.

According to an official of the bank, CEO Gurung has resigned with effect from Baisakh 17. He resigned before the end of his four-year term. However, there are only 3 months left in the term.

Gurung had joined Civil Bank nine years ago as Deputy CEO. It is understood that Gurung has resigned to pursue his doctorate. He has an MBA from Tribhuwan University. He has an work experience with Himalayan Bank, Global Bank and Mega Bank.
