Brazilian Willain leaves Arsenal
Brazilian winger Willian has left English club Arsenal to join his former club Corinthians. Willian, 33, arrived in Corinthians, canceling his contract with Arsenal with two years to go.
Willian joined Arsenal last season on a three-year deal with English club Chelsea. Despite getting a chance in 37 games at Arsenal last season, he could not show his influence. He scored only one goal.
Willian played in Corinthians from 1998 to 2007. He then went to the Ukrainian club Sakhtar Donetsk. After spending seven seasons in Sakhtar, he played for some time on loan at Russian club Angie Makhachakla.
He then moved to London club Chelsea. He has scored 63 goals in 339 games for Chelsea.
