Arun Valley Hydropower to close its book on Chaitra 9

Arun Valley Hydropower Company is going to close the book on Chaitra 9 for the purpose of right shares issue. For the issuance of 50 percent right shares the company will be closing its book on Chaitra 9.
The existing shareholders will be able to apply for the right shares till Chaitra 8. The meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Falgun 26 has fixed the date of book closing.
The company will issue 52.41 million 197 shares. The company had received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal on Falgun 25 to issue the right shares. Currently, the company’s paid-up capital is Rs. 998.3 million. After the issue of these right shares, the capital will increase to Rs. 1 billion 522.4 million.
