Announcement of organ donation by all government ministers

All the government ministers have announced to donate their bodies after death. A meeting of the cabinet held on Thursday has announced to donate their bodies after death.

On the proposal of Health and Population Minister Virodh Khatiwada, all the ministers have announced to donate body parts after death. Minister Khatiwada had announced to donate organs posthumously on Health Care Day 2078 BS.

Similarly, the Council of Ministers has also decided to conduct free tests for kidney, liver and heart diseases.

According to the Secretariat of Health and Population Minister Virodh Khatiwada, it has been decided to conduct such test free of cost once a year.
