Ajod Insurance calls for AGM; a proposal to issue rights

Kathmandu, March 30

Azod Insurance Limited has convened its third annual general meeting on Baisakh 7. The company has called a meeting at 11 am at the World Trade Center, DECC, Aman Hall, 3rd Floor, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. A meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Chaitra 16 has decided to hold a meeting.

The meeting will pass a resolution to issue 50 percent of the existing paid-up capital, i.e. 2 lots of shares equal to 1 lot. Other proposals of the general meeting are to amend the management letter and rules of the company, increase the authorized capital of the company, increase the issued and paid up capital to the extent of the entitled shares, and elect two directors representing the general shareholders.

For the purpose of the general meeting, the shareholder registration book of the company will be closed from Chaitra 24 to Baisakh 7. Based on the book close, only existing shareholders will be able to participate in the meeting.
