A week long lockdown in Nepalgunj from today

Lockdown is scheduled to take place in Nepalgunj, Banke from midnight on Wednesday (Today).

The District Administration Office, Banke, has announced a one-week lockdown in the Nepalgunj municipal area to break the chain of rapidly spreading corona infection and to prevent and control it.

According to the CDO, Shivaram Gelal, the lockdown will continue from midnight on Baisakh 8 to midnight on Baisakh 15.

All types of services except essential vehicles have been banned from operating in the lockdown. Banks and financial institutions will also remain closed during the lockdown, according to the Banke administration. Apart from urgent work, the administration has also banned people from walking. As of this morning, the number of active infected people in Banke has reached 735.
