A luxury car bought by abusing Covid’s money

A man living in California, USA, has spent 50 million on coronavirus relief to buy a luxury car. Mustafa Qadiri has been arrested.

Prosecutors say he used the money to vacate expensive places and buy cars such as Ferrari and Bentley.

Qadiri has been arrested on charges of trying to defraud the Paycheck Protection Program. The program was launched in 2021 to help small businesses during the Covid epidemic.

Federal agents have seized luxury cars and about 2 million from Qadri’s bank account.
