How many people applied for IPO of Vindhyavasini Hydropower ?

An application worth Rs 1.98 billion has been received for the IPO of Vindhyavasini Hydropower.

 According to CDS, 1,659,224 people have applied for 198,58,260 lots till 10 am on the last day of Wednesday, May 25 This is 14.54 times more applications based on the number of open lots for sale to the public.

A total of 1.365 million shares have been opened to the public since June 20. Out of the total 15 million shares, 5 percent or 75,000 shares have been allotted to the collective investment fund and 4 percent or 60,000 shares have been allotted to the employees and the remaining shares have been opened to the public. The company has made arrangements to apply for a minimum of 10 lots and a maximum of 100,000 lots.

Investors will be able to replenish their shares through C-ASWA Banks and Financial Institutions and My Shares. Rating agency Care Nepal has given ‘Issuer Rating Double B Plus’ to Vindhyavasini’s IPO. Which indicates an average risk in the company’s ability to bear responsibility.
