Russia bans exports of more than 200 items
Russia has banned the export of its various goods. Russia has banned the export of various goods from its country until the end of 2022 in response to Western sanctions.
Russia has banned exports of telecom, health, vehicles, agriculture and electrical goods. Russia will also block exports of forest products, including timber.
The Ministry of Finance has also stated that foreign ships will be banned in Russian ports.
The West has banned the purchase of Russian oil in particular. They have also focused on sanctions against Russian billionaires close to President Vladimir Putin.
Russia’s export sanctions will affect about 48 countries, including the United States and the European Union.
Russia has been attacking Ukraine since February 24. Russia has launched airstrikes targeting airports in the western Ukrainian cities of Ivanovo and Frankfurt, local officials say.
After the invasion of Ukraine, various countries imposed blockades and economic pressure on Russia is increasing. However, despite economic pressure, Russia continues to invade Ukraine.
