Taplejung fire update: A woman died in the fire

One woman has died in a fire at Kopche Bazaar in Phungling, the district headquarters of Taplejung district. The deceased has been identified as Chulimaya Limbu, 67, of Maiwakhola.

The fire has completely burnt down Shiva Maden’s house and partially damaged Rabindra Limbu’s house.

The fire was brought under control with the help of locals, Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force.
