More than 2 million people have left Ukraine
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, more than two million people have fled Ukraine and taken refuge in various countries. 1.2 million of them reached Poland.
The United Nations has released a statement and given that information.
UNHCR chief Filippo Grandi said families were devastated by the brutal war and suffered unimaginable pain.
Officials and the United Nations have predicted that the flow will intensify as Russian forces advance on Ukraine, especially towards the capital Kiev.
