India to form theater commands to fight war

The Indian Army is creating theater commands. The Indian Army’s ambitious plan to create theater commands has been hailed as the biggest defense improvement.

The new theater command model has so far planned four commands, one for land and one for air and sea operations.

As detailed modalities are yet to be prepared, it is said that we will have to wait another two-three years for full operation.
