Training center will be established for the workers going for foreign employment
The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has stated that preparations are being made to set up a training center for the workers going for foreign employment. At a meeting of the Committee on Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Affairs held at Singha Durbar on Monday, Secretary at the Ministry of Labor Ek Narayan Aryal informed that the work of setting up training centers in all the seven states has been taken forward. He said that the foreign employment sector has come to a standstill due to the inability to send capable manpower. If employment cannot be created in the country, skilled workers should be sent for foreign employment and the government will provide training for this.
Secretary Aryal said that there was a problem in sending workers illegally. He said that the distortion and inconsistency seen in the tourist visa should be removed as the workers are going for foreign employment on the tourist visa. He said that the ministry was also studying the problems faced by domestic workers going for foreign employment.
