Frightening corona infection rates in Europe and the US

Kathmandu, Jan. 2: Corona virus infection has been on the rise in the United States and European countries recently. Statistics show that daily infection rates are rising sharply in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

In just 24 hours, more than 124,000 new infections have been reported in the United States alone. The daily infection rate is 40 percent and the death rate has risen to 34 percent.

In the UK, more than 78,000 people have been infected in a single day. January is the highest since January. There are 60,000 new infections in France, 53,000 in Germany and 28,000 in Russia. Russia has more than 1,100 deaths per day from the infection. Russia has the highest mortality rate.
