Teacher arrested for raping student

Nepalgunj: A teacher has been arrested for raping a student in Nepalgunj. The arrested is Hikmat Rawal, 41, police said.

A 17-year-old girl studying in a technical school in Nepalgunj has been repeatedly raped by her teacher Rawal, according to the complaint. According to the complaint, Rawal had raped her three times by calling her at a hotel and at home under the pretext of teaching.

Teacher Rawal had raped the girl after calling her at a hotel at Pushpalal Chowk on July 10. It is mentioned in the complaint that she was called to the same hotel two days later and raped.Claiming that he had made a video of her first rape, Rawal had threatened to bring her out if she did not comply.

Rawal had called her to his room on December 26 and raped her. It is mentioned in the complaint that the girl threatened to bring out the video if she refused to come and took her to her room at around 5 pm on December 26 and raped her.

The teacher has been arrested after the student filed a complaint on December 8. Banke police said that they are investigating him after extending his term by seven days.
