Boutique hotel in Butwal with an investment of Rs. 500 million
Dream International Hotel has become the first boutique hotel with an investment of Rs.500 million.
Entrepreneur Gopal Rana, who is also running Dream Land Gold Resort, a four-star hotel in Manigram of the district, has brought a 40-room hotel into operation with a single family investment. It is a three star hotel built on four and a half blocks of land that reflects Nepaliness.The hotel has 4 suite rooms and 36 deluxe rooms. The hotel’s exterior design and well-equipped rooms will also attract European tourists, said Rana. The hotel has two halls with a capacity of 100 people, a fine dining restaurant on the ground floor, a bar on the upper floor and a cafe and restaurant on the terrace.He said that even though the tourism sector was crippled due to the Corona epidemic, the sustainable basis of the country’s economic prosperity was tourism and he had invested in boutique hotels with confidence.
The hotel also plans to offer tour packages to its guests to visit historical and tourist sites of Butwal including Jitgadhi Fort, Manimukunda Sen Udyan, Hill Park, Siddhababa, Ramapithecus Park, Rani Mahal of Palpa and Lumbini.”Just as the private sector has invested heavily in hotel tourism, the government needs to formulate a tourism-friendly policy,” he said. More than 50 people have got direct employment in the hotel.
