Rwanda’s ambassador proposes bilateral air agreement
Rwanda’s non-resident ambassador Jacqueline Mukangira has proposed a bilateral air service agreement between Nepal and Rwanda.During a courtesy call on Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale at the Ministry today, Ambassador Mukangira proposed the agreement as there is no air service agreement between Nepal and Rwanda so far.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mukangira said that it was necessary to sign the agreement between Nepal and Rwanda as it would be beneficial for the promotion of tourism. He said, “In order to attract Rwandan tourists, it is necessary to have an air service agreement between Nepal and Rwanda. This agreement will further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.”
Minister Ale said that the proposal for bilateral air service agreement put forward by Ambassador Mukangira was taken positively and the process of the proposal would be taken forward through formal channels. He said, “We have positively accepted the bilateral airline agreement proposal and will move the process forward through formal channels and discussions.” Secretary of the Ministry Maheshwar Neupane and Joint Secretary Buddhisagar Lamichhane were present during the courtesy call.
