Congress General Secretary candidate mahat announces commitment letter

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary candidate Dr. Prakash Sharan mahat has made the commitment letter public.

Mahat, who was nominated by the Sher Bahadur Deuba panel for the post of General Secretary at the 14th General Convention on Sunday, said that he has decided to run for the post of General Secretary with the objective and commitment of making the party strong, organized and accountable to the party workers and citizens. He said that policies, strategies and programs would be formulated to establish a prosperous and egalitarian society by giving high priority to social justice by timely explaining democratic socialism as the guiding principle of the Congress.

He has resolved to make the Congress the charioteer of economic prosperity of the common man by strengthening it by establishing it as an alternative to democracy in Nepal.
