Nepse increased by a modest number; Transaction amount fell on Tuesday

The stock market, which has declined since the first trading day of this week, raised by a modest number on Tuesday.

Today, the market increased by 0.10 percent i.e. 2.68 points and closed at 2,664.61 points. The Sensitive Index also raised by 0.10 percent on Tuesday. The Sensitive Index raised by 0.50 points and reached to 479.60 points.

The transaction amount on this day is less than the previous trading day. On Monday, 1 crore 42 lakh 768 shares worth Rs. 6 arba 76 crore 68 lakh 1 thousand 42 million were traded. On Tuesday, 1 crore 23 lakh 69 thousand 501 shares worth Rs. 5 arba 53 crore 86 lakh 17 thousand were traded. It was traded 65,793 times by 216 companies.

The Citizens Investment Trust, which has been holding the largest share since Monday, continued on Tuesday aswell. The compay’s total of Rs. 21 crore 42 lakh 89 thousand shares were traded. The share price of the company with the highest turnover fell by Rs. 41 per unit and the final price is Rs. 3,953 has been maintained.

Investors in development banks and hydropower groups have earned the most from Tuesday’s market. On this day, the index of Development Bank has increased the most by 1.68 percent and the index of Hydropower has increased by 1.24 percent.

On the same day, 0.95 percent of business group, 0.5 percent of hotels and tourism group, 0.38 percent of finance, 0.11 percent of manufacturing and processing group, 0.22 percent of others, 0.12 percent of microfinance and life insurance increased 0.31 percent.

On this day, the index of investment group has decreased the most by 1.3 percent. Along with the investment group, the banking group declined by 0.7 percent, the non-life insurance group by 0.18 percent and the mutual fund by 0.29 percent.

Shares of United Mardi Hydropower and Mahila Laghubitta raised by 10 percent, Jyoti Life Insurance by 9.96 percent and Himalayan Energy Development Company by 9.85 percent on Tuesday.

On this day, the share price of United Mardi Hydro increased by Rs. 19 per unit and the final price of Rs. 209 has been maintained.The share price of Mahila Laghubitta increased by Rs. 146 and the final price of Rs. 1,606 has been maintained. Similarly, Jyoti Life Insurance’s increased by Rs. 68 per unit and the final price of Rs. 751 has been maintained and Himalayan Energy Development Company raised by Rs. 33 and the final price is Rs. 368 has been maintained.

Shares of Samriddhi Finance, Oriental Hotels and Chdyangdi Hydropower fell by more than 2 percent on Tuesday. Samridhi Finance’s fell by 2.47 percent i.e. Rs. 6 per unit, the final price has maintained to Rs. 237, 2.22 percent of Oriental Hotels i.e. Rs. 10 and the final price is Rs. 440 and 2.3 percent of Chhyangdi Hydropower i.e. Rs. 6 and the final price is Rs. 289 has been maintained

The market, which has been steadily rising since Chaitra 17, fell by double digits on Sunday and Monday. Last Thursday, Nepse had set an all-time high of 2,735.46 points. In these two days, the market point has decreased by 70.85 points.
