5 more deaths from Corona virus; 534 cases added in Kathmandu valley in 24 hour

In the last 24 hours, another 534 corona cases have been confirmed across the country.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday, corona was confirmed in 490 people out of 4,088 people who underwent RT-PCR testing and 534 people who tested antigen in 564 people. At the same time, the total number of infected people has reached 282,054 so far.

In the last 24 hours, corona infection has been confirmed in 196 people in three districts of the Kathmandu Valley. Where, 145 are from Kathmandu, 43 from Lalitpur and 8 from Bhaktapur.

During this period, 157 people have recovered from virus. The total number of people who have recovered from virus has reached 274,604. Five more people have died in the last 24 hours. The total death toll has reached 3,066.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has appealed not to overcrowd in various areas including schools as the risk of corona is increasing. Stating that all congested areas and services should be shut down immediately, the ministry has urged to be vigilant as no decision has been taken so far. The ministry has also urged not to overcrowd such areas and to strictly follow health standards.
