Nepse reached 2658.74 points; More than 7 arba shares traded

On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the Nepse index increased by 1.13 points compared to the previous trading day and reached 2,658.74 points. A total of 1,58,53,993 shares of 212 companies were traded 73,598 times worth Rs. 7 arba 29 crore today.
Shares of four companies raised more than 9 percent on the day. Shares of NIC Asia Laghubitta raised the most at 9.99 percent. Radhi Bidhyut Company increased by 9.98 percent, Womi Laghubitta by 9.95 percent and Sanima General Insurance by 9.77 percent.
Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower had the highest turnover on Monday. The company’s more than 34,756,800 shares have been bought and sold. The company’s shares are worth Rs. 908 per unit.
Similarly, Gurkhas Finance have lost the most. The share price fell 4.12 percent on unit from the previous trading day. The share price of the company is has dropped to Rs. 489.
Of the 13 groups, 3.24 percent were in the hotel and tourism sector, 2.99 percent in the trade group, 1.85 percent in the hydropower group, 0.45 per cent in the manufacturing and processing group, 1.58 percent in the other group, 0.71 percent in the microfinance group and Mutual funds have increased by 0.39 percent while the rest of the group’s indicators have declined.
Banking group declined by 0.65 percent, development bank group by 0.5 percent, finance group by 0.8 percent, non-life insurance group by 0.75 percent, life insurance group by 0.22 percent and investment group by 0.84 percent.
Nepse has broken the previous record based on the indicator. It had reached 2,689.19 points shortly after the market opened on Monday. As the market grows, traders seem to dominate. However, Monday’s market close is still high.
