6 construction companies blacklisted

Kathmandu: The government has blacklisted six construction companies.The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted Elite Construction Pvt. Ltd. of Kathmandu Sukedhara, Nilgiri Construction Services of Old Baneshwor, changrasi Construction Services of Tarekeshwar Municipality and SSM Construction Pvt. Ltd. in Kamaladi.

Similarly, SNC Construction Services and Tridev Construction Services in Banke have also been blacklisted. Nilgiri has been blacklisted for three years, Elite and Changrasi for two and a half years and others for one year. According to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office, the blacklisted companies will not be allowed to participate in any procurement process of the public body during this period.
