After the arrival of tourists in Lomanthang, the main tourist destination of Mustang, the old rhythm has started to return. Chairman of the Lomanthang Conservation Area Management Committee, Tashi Gurung, said that the arrival of tourists has returned to the old rhythm after two years.
“We have slept in hotels and homestays full of guests, even at home,” he said. “In the previous two years, tourist arrivals were zero.” Chairman Gurung said that the biggest festival celebrated by the residents of Lomanthang and Loghekar-Damodarkund villages, which ended on Sunday, was attended by many guests.
