Indian Hospitality Giant Lemon Tree Hotels to Manage “Queen Tower” in Bandipur
India’s renowned hospitality chain, Lemon Tree Hotels, has officially entered into an agreement to manage and operate the Hotel Queen Tower in the scenic hilltop town of Bandipur, Tanahun. The agreement was signed in New Delhi between Carnation Hotels Private Limited (a subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited) and Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited. This partnership marks a significant step in bringing international hospitality standards to one of Nepal’s premier tourist destinations.
The upcoming hotel will feature 80 well-appointed rooms and is situated at an impressive altitude of 1,030 meters. The property is uniquely integrated with the Bandipur Cable Car project, which spans 1,700 meters, providing guests with a scenic and convenient transport link to the hilltop tower. The hotel is strategically located 145 km from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and 75 km from the Pokhara International Airport, making it accessible for both domestic and international travelers.
Designed as a comprehensive luxury destination, the hotel will offer an array of high-end amenities. Guests will have access to a variety of dining options through a dedicated restaurant and bar. For leisure and wellness, the property will house a swimming pool, a full-service spa, and a modern fitness center. Additionally, the hotel is equipped to host large-scale events with its banquet hall and meeting rooms, catering to both the tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors.
Vilas Pawar, CEO of Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, noting that the company is committed to strengthening its footprint in Nepal. Currently, the group has two operational properties in the country, with three more in the pipeline. With a presence spanning India, Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal, Lemon Tree aims to bring its signature hospitality experience to the unique landscape of Bandipur.
